When an elderly couple from southern Germany mistook a refugee home for a restaurant they were more than a little surprised by the hospitable treatment they received.

Gabriele Stärz and Hans Eppinger regularly travel to Bamberg in northern Bavaria for the outdoor opportunities the region offers.
